My Dads been riding quite strong since the start of last season. He bought a Cannondale 800 as soon as he could get onto the pavement after most of the snow was gone. He had a great season going, and even hit a 300mile week I believe, but no races this season. He upgraded to a Lightspeed Sienna and has been riding like a cat 4 racer ever since. If he did some structured workouts and kept with it through next season he could do some real damage on the race scene. Last I talked to him hes going to try to keep his fitness up over the winter and get back into the swing of things when the season opens in late march. He plans on some TT's to start off with before he tries his luck on a classic.
